Johnston Textiles has two manufacturing facilities in Phenix City, Alabama and Opp, Alabama dedicated to our customers. - All requests for returns must be made within 90 days from invoice date. Accommodation returns will be based on our restocking policy. No customer accommodation returns will be accepted on inactive or obsolete patterns.
- No return will be accepted without a Return Authorization. The original roll number must be provided to receive a Return Authorization.
- A Return Authorization is valid for 30 days. Johnston Textiles must receive the yardage in question within 30 days of issue date.
- Each roll should be marked with the return authorization number. It is the responsibility of the customer that rolls are properly wrapped to ensure that rolls are returned in good condition. Failure to properly wrap rolls could result in a penalty.
- Customer should examine all yardage carefully before cutting to verify that it meets expectations and is as ordered.
- Returns will only be accepted for full rolls of product with original labels that are “uncut” and in salable condition.
- If we re-qualify goods as first quality, it is our discretion to return goods to customer in lieu of monetary credit.
- Wall covering applications - an allowance of only 20% of first roll per shipment will be allowed for credit in case of quality issues, which allows up to three drops for visual acceptance.
- No returns will be accepted for specially processed goods by special request. Goods are sold “as is.”
- No incidental charges will be paid on any returns or quality issues in the field. Upon receipt and verification of the return, credit or replacement yardage will be issued to you.
- All fabric will be inspected according to Association for Contract Textiles (ACT) standards.
- Products are sold to be within commercial match of the standard. Cuttings for approval can be requested from JTI when order is placed should shade verification be required.
- Johnston Textiles is not responsible for damages beyond our control. This is to include, but not limited to deterioration or loss caused by abuse, misuse, vandalism, burns, cuts, improper installation or defects in manufacture of seats, application of a post-treatment, improper maintenance, and use of improper cleaning agents, etc.
- Johnston Textiles is not responsible for any shipping damages incurred after goods have left our facility, unless goods are shipped at our expense.
- Johnston Textiles will only be responsible for freight on returns from the original “ship to” address.
