Tommy Cooper
President and CEO
Mr. Cooper was appointed President and CEO of the company on August 23, 2005. A native of North Carolina, Mr. Cooper joined the company in 2000 as Plant Manager at Opp and Micolas Mills. He was promoted to VP of Manufacturing - Opp and Micolas Mills in 2002. In 2004, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for operations at the company's three locations. Prior to joining Johnston, Mr. Cooper was a Division Manager with Dan River, Plant Manager with Galey & Lord, and held various positions with Burlington Industries. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Western Carolina University.
 
Grover Elliott
Executive Vice President and CFO
Mr. Elliott joined the company in 2005 and has over 20 years experience in textiles with Dan River Inc. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for several furniture companies and a carpet company. Mr. Elliott received an MBA from Furman University and a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
 
Jim Herrel
Executive Vice President of Sales and Materials Management
Mr. Herrel is responsible for sales, the procurement of raw materials, supply chain management, import sourcing, and JIT inventory. He joined Johnston in August, 2002, as director of Corporate sourcing. Prior to joining Johnston, he was Senior Vice President of Sourcing and Production at Arrow Shirt Company and Vice President of Corporate Sourcing at Tropical Sportswear International. He has conducted business in over 26 countries worldwide and holds a B.S. degree from the University of Toledo.
 
Steve Adair
Executive Vice President of Market Development
Mr. Adair is responsible for the strategic customer and market development. He joined Johnston in 1989 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Southern Phenix Textiles. Prior to joining Johnston he was associated with West Point Pepperell as Vice President of Operations for Coated Products. He holds a B.S. degree in Textiles Management from Auburn University.
